7:30 AM: Safety and Operational Briefing

Check in at the Rhino Rides dock at the Anantara Eastern Mangroves marina at 7:30 AM sharp for a safety briefing and route briefing followed by instructions on operating the boat.

Please note: Safety is our number one concern and priority. Attending the briefing is most important and you cannot participate without attending the full orientation.

8:00 AM: The adventure begins

As you follow your guide out of the marina into lagoon we will cruise along the coast dotted by the palace and a row of isles.

Meet the flamingos

Pass by the flamingo sanctuary and observe these odd-looking birds doing their morning routines.

Maneuver through the mangroves

Observe the diverse fauna and flora of the mangrove forest and try to spot its inhabitants such as crabs, herons, turtles and many more.

Land on the uninhabited island

Make a quick stop at an uninhabited island inside the mangroves and do a little exploration or take a quick swim in the beautiful lagoon before you head back to the base by 9:30 AM.

Limitations
  • Minimum age to ride on the boat: 3 years
  • Minimum age to drive the boat: 18 years
  • Weight limit on the boat: 225 kg / 500 lbs (total)
  • Wearing shoes in the boat is not allowed
  • Pregnant women and people with back, neck or heart problems are not allowed
Cancellation and refunds
  • Full refund if cancelled at least 48 hours before the commencement of the tour
  • Full refund if supplier cancels the tour
  • No refund if you don’t show up for the tour or you do not cancel at least 48 hours in advance
  • No refund if you are late and miss the safety briefing and therefore not allowed to go on the tour
  • Supplier gets to decide if the weather is good enough to run the tour
  • Rescheduling is possible once up to 24 hours before the tour
  • Rescheduling is not possible within 24 hours before the tour
IMPORTANT
The activity starts with a safety briefing that you must attend. If you are late and you miss the safety briefing, we have the right to refuse your participation and no refund will be given!
